Liz Terek, at Devoted Mommy of 3, has reviewed my
novel I say Who, What, and Where!
“Thirty-three
year old, Marcy Hunt is a woman torn. Honestly, she could be anyone you know.
Having left the corporate world behind her, she attempts to complete her first
novel. Trying desperately to launch her writing career while simultaneously
maintaining a relationship with her boyfriend, Sean & finding herself, she
seeks solace in a journal. As she confesses all to her pen & paper, we go
along with her on her journey of self-discovery. Humor, tears & honesty
pepper each entry. Along the way, we may learn a thing or two about ourselves,
but regardless, we will have a great time!
I had
such a blast reading this book. It is the second novel that I’ve read from
Merce & it has become my favorite of the two. Every bit of this novel is so
realistic. Readers will be able to relate to Marcy as if she is a close friend
& confidant. In fact, many of the trials she goes through in the course of
her own friendships with women will strike a chord with female readers.
As you
follow along, you’ll want to cheer her on in her voyage. Some of her decisions
will make you shake your head while others will thrill you. Even the men in her
life are all too realistic. Who doesn’t have a man from their past that they
serious wonder about? Her world travels are unique. Readers may feel a pang of
jealousy at how Marcy just makes up her mind, picks up, & goes. With no
responsabilities to hold her back, we can travel vicariously through her.
Merce
has definitely found her niche. I say Who, What, and Where! is a
terrific read, guaranteed to be popular with readers. Truly, a 5 star novel
that was simply a thrill to read, I highly recommend it. After you’ve finished,
check out Deconstructing INFATUATION, Merce’s first novel.”
